Blue Apple are thrilled to have been named Business and Industry Caterer of the Year at the Foodservice ‘Cateys’ awards evening, celebrated in London on Friday 8th October.
The annual event, held this year in the plush surroundings of the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, invites businesses from across the foodservice sector to gather and celebrate the most innovative, creative, hard-working and exciting people and businesses from our excellent industry.
The main award of the evening; the Caterer of the Year shortlist saw Blue Apple pitted against two multi-national catering businesses and it is testament to our proudly independent company that we were able to take the award against such fierce competition. We have worked to create a business that really can compete with the ‘big boys’ without sacrificing what makes us unique and appealing to our clients. The judges agreed, adding that Blue Apple ‘may be small, but they think big!’ whilst referring to our being named as one of the London Stock Exchange ‘Companies to Inspire Britain’ as part of their decision-making process.

With the obvious pandemic challenges for Blue Apple and the wider industry over the past eighteen months considered, CEO and Co-Founder Brian Allanson was delighted to see Blue Apple collect the award as he paid tribute to the fantastic teams within the business;
“An amazing night. We are now B&I Contract Caterer of the Year at the Cateys! Such a fantastic accolade and all down to the resilience and professionalism of our teams through lockdown. Thank you all for your tremendous support and dedication to our business. The future looks brighter than ever!”
